He was a good man, brave & energetic
He was cheerful to a fault
He loved people & was loved by all.
He was a breadwinner to many families far & near.
He will share the little he had to put smiles on faces.
He was the BEST among the best
He always stood by the truth.
He was an advocate to many.
A barrister & solicitor of the supreme court of Nigeria.
The first indigenous Barrister in Umuoba Anam.
He was the main light in the Ugbagu family.
He was my 1st cousin & above all my MENTOR.
Uncle Chuks, your death came as a big blow to all.
Chai, chi enwerugo ehihe jie. The main light has gone dim.
Your demise was so sudden, you have broken many hearts. My head aches, heart bleeds & legs tremble.
Who will look straight in my eyes & tell me in your words" Oge when I see you I see my Uncle Dom"
Uncle Chuks pls tell my dad that his little girl is now a mother & a lawyer too & that you aided her in your own little way to achieve her dream.
Uncle, if death could be a contest, I know that many could have fought to bring you back, even dash their sons in your place.
You fought a good fight, you came, saw & conquered.
Your death is a painful exit but glorious in the sight of God.
All I ask God is to assemble His angels in welcoming you.
Adieu my Mentor & big bro in whom I’m well pleased.
Adieu Akunatakasi 1 na Anam
Rest on Barr. Chuks Okeke Ugbagu.
Till we meet again.
From Oge Ugbagu-Chinwuba. Esq
1st Cousin.
